School Uniform

We are sure that all parents would like their children to be neat and tidy and sensibly dressed for school in order that they derive full benefit from the activities provided by the school.  We have listed below items which are required for school uniform and various physical activities.

Boys

Royal blue sweatshirt with embroidered school badge.

Royal blue polo-shirt with embroidered school badge.

Single colour dark grey school trousers.

Dark coloured shoes and grey socks.

Girls

Grey skirt or single coloured dark grey trousers.

White socks or in Winter months black tights.

Dark coloured shoes

Girls’ shoes are a perennial problem, particularly when they are so expensive, but they should be wearing:-

a]            Dark shoes with a reasonable heel height of less than 4.0cm

b]            Dark shoes that give adequate protection against bad weather.

c]            Dark shoes that give satisfactory support to feet that are not yet fully formed.

Boys - House colour football socks , Girls - White knee high socks

Boys - Football boots, Girls - Hockey boots (optional)

Girls - Grey games skirt (Year 7 & 8 only – optional)

Towel

Swimming trunks (Year 5 only)  or  One piece swimming costume (Year 5 only)

Protective Clothing (Girls & Boys)

For safe Craft, Design and Technology and other practical work, all children will need protective clothing.  An adult shirt, providing that it covers the pupil from chest to knees and is not too baggy, is an ideal form of apron.  A suitable apron is required for the food technology element of Design and Technology.
